Yesterday, I wrote an article on the Jaguar XE being spotted en-route to its unveiling. The XE is the latest, lightest and stiffest saloon produced by the British marque till date. It also features as the most aerodynamic Jag ever made – Wow. The company claims that the car is easy to maintain, has low ownership cost, is fuel efficient and environment friendly, Phew! The car unveiled yesterday was the performance- oriented XE S
The XE sedan has the lowest drag co-efficient of 0.26, lowest of any Jaguar to date.
The strongly-sculpted bonnet creates a taut, muscular appearance.
The rising waistline adds to the dynamism.
The front gets the XF inspired grille and the signature J-design DRLs
The dashboard looks clean and uncluttered with easy-to-reach controls
The seats are well bolstered and provide good lateral support
This performance sedan is a proper four-seater
The XE gets an all-new InControl infotainment system.
The ‘S’ badging on the front grille convey the car’s intent.
So do the door sills.
And the chrome plated twin tail pipes as well.
