Lamborghini India is expanding its dealer network in the country. It currently has two dealerships, one at Mumbai and the other in New Delhi. Yesterday, it added a third showroom to the count and this one is based in Bangalore at Vittal Mallya road.
The facility was inaugurated by President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann himself. Spread over an area of 4350 sq.ft this showroom comprises of a customer lounge with emphasis on distinct Italian values that the brand is known for. To recreate the brand experience for customers here, the staff has received special training in Italy.
This is what Winkelmann had to say at the launch, “India is a huge market and holds immense potential for selling luxury sports cars. Lamborghini being an early entrant in the market, we want to retain our edge over others. There is a high awareness about the brand here, but sales are low. We need to convert it into sales through various campaigns.”
Lamborghini sells its entire range of cars in India with the latest offering being the Huracan supercar launched a couple of months back, at an asking price of Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company said the Bangalore showroom has already sold three cars during its soft launch. With the launch of this dealership Lamborghini hopes to increase awareness and strengthen the brands presence in southern India.
